“I used to worry every time I took my tablet ashore or used it in the cockpit—what if I slipped, dropped it, got splashed (or worse!), or it rained?”
Cruising life is wet—dinghy rides, sudden squalls, the occasional unexpected swim. You don’t need “water-resistant.” You need gear that floats and stays bone dry, even when everything else is soaked. ugo® cases are tough, truly waterproof, and built to protect what matters—so you can stop worrying and just bring your tech along.

100% Waterproof
A real drysuit zipper seals out water—just be sure it’s fully closed.

It Floats!
Even fully loaded—because waterproof won’t help if it goes overboard and sinks.

Tough and Roomy
Padding, pockets, and space for cords, phone, wallet, and more.

Use Tablet in the Case
Touchscreen works right through the case—stay protected and connected.
“Now I can take my gear ashore in the dinghy -- or even on my paddleboard -- without a second thought.”

Waterproofing
- IP68-rated, with RF-welded seams -- no stitching or glue
- uZIP zipper used in drysuits, hazmat suits, and even spacesuits -- it's not just waterproof, it's airtight
- Yes, it floats! But should it get pulled under water, it'll keep water out for an unlimited time at depths to 50 feet
- Added bonus: no dust, dirt, or sand can get in
The difference between the ugo®pack and other waterproof pouches is the uZIP®dry suit style zipper. The ugo® is the first and only phone and tablet pack to be made with a waterproof zipper that has a Third Party Tested IP68 (ingress protection) rating.
-
How to Be Sure the Zipper Is Fully Closed
The waterproof zipper may feel a little stiff—that’s normal. Give it a firm tug to fully close—you won’t break it. Then squeeze the bag. If air can’t get out, water can’t get in. That’s how you know it’s sealed and ready to go.
-
Straps
- The included adjustable crossbody strap is great when you're walking
- The hand strap is perfect for holding the tablet in one hand or will hold your tablet in place at the helm or in the dinghy
- Lots of attachment points for carabiners or bungee cords if those work better for you
-
Using Your Tablet for Navigation
- Large enough to plug your tablet into an external battery and keep it all inside the case (most cases are no longer waterproof once you need to plug your tablet in . . . a real problem when using it for trips longer than a few hours)
- No problem viewing or using the tablet while in the ugo® case
- Airtight seal insulates from heat/cold for longer battery life
-
Durable - Easy Care
- Chlorine, UV, and saltwater resistant
- Occasionally use a dab of the included zipper lubricant on the zipper docking area to ensure the zipper will fully close with ease

Melanie Cole & Vicky DeRouchey
ugo® Inventors & Co-Founders
We were tired of worrying about keeping our electronics dry—it took the joy out of being on the water. So we set out to fix it. We wanted true 100% waterproof protection from water, sand, and dirt.
People said it couldn’t be done. HA! We did it anyway. Nine years, thousands of cases, zero gear failures.
