“I used to worry every time I took my laptop ashore—what if I slipped, dropped it when handing it to/from the dinghy, got splashed (or worse!), or it rained?”

Finally, Laptop Protection That Actually Works for Cruisers

Cruising life can be wet—dinghy rides, getting on the dock, sudden squalls, the occasional unexpected swim. You don’t need “water-resistant.” You need gear that floats and stays bone dry, even when everything else is soaked. ugo® cases are tough, truly waterproof, and built to protect what matters—so you can stop worrying and just bring your tech along.

1

100% Waterproof
A real drysuit zipper seals out water—just be sure it’s fully closed.

2

It Floats!
Even fully loaded—because waterproof means nothing if it sinks in deep water.

3

Seriously Tough
Lots of padding to protect your laptop wherever you may go.

4

Surprisingly Spacious
Room for your laptop, cord, mouse, files, other electronics, and more.

“Now I can take my gear ashore in the dinghy -- or even on my paddleboard -- without a second thought.”

  • Size - For laptops up to 17" diagonal

    Dimensions: 18” x 14” x 3”

  • Waterproofing

    • IP68-rated, with RF-welded seams
    • uZIP zipper used in drysuits, hazmat suits, and even spacesuits -- it's not just waterproof, it's airtight
    • Yes, it floats! But should it get pulled under water, it'll keep water out for an unlimited time at depths to 50 feet
    • Added bonus: no dust, dirt, or sand can get in

The difference between the ugo® pack and other waterproof pouches is the uZIP® dry suit style zipper. The ugo® is the first and only phone and tablet pack to be made with a waterproof zipper that has a third-party tested IP68 (ingress protection) rating.

  • How to Be Sure the Zipper Is Fully Closed

The waterproof zipper may feel a little stiff—that’s normal. Give it a firm tug to fully close—you won’t break it. Then squeeze the bag. If air can’t get out, water can’t get in. That’s how you know it’s sealed and ready to go.

  • Organized and Protected

Six internal pockets—including two zippered—plus padded sides and daisy chain loops help keep everything in its place and easy to grab.

  • Easy to Carry, However You Like

The adjustable crossbody strap makes it comfortable for longer walks, but you’ve also got regular handles if that’s easier. And with plenty of attachment points, you can use carabiners, bungees—whatever setup works best for you.

  • Durable - Easy Care

    • Chlorine, UV, and saltwater resistant
    • Occasionally use a dab of the included zipper lubricant on the zipper docking area to ensure the zipper will fully close with ease
  • Warranty

If this bag saves your laptop just once, it’s worth every penny. Between the cost, the data, and the hassle of setting up a new one—why take the risk?

ugo® Inventors & Co-Founders

We were tired of worrying about keeping our electronics dry—it took the joy out of being on the water. So we set out to fix it. We wanted true 100% waterproof protection from water, sand, and dirt.

People said it couldn’t be done. HA! We did it anyway. Nine years, thousands of cases, zero gear failures.
