Updated February 2024, this guide features accurate, reliable information for stress-free cruising around Florida's iconic waterways.

Why It’s Different • Answers at a Glance

This guide is organized first by what you need—anchorages, free docks, bridges, services—then by location, following the clockwise route of the Florida Loop. No lengthy descriptions and no charts—just clear tables to pinpoint the information you need without delay.

How to Use • Quick Steps for Finding What You Need

Designed to answer your questions quickly, this guide simplifies navigating the Florida Loop:

  1. Go to the Right Section: Tabs help you find what you need—anchorages, bridges, services, or haulout facilities.
  2. Find Your Column: Look for details like wind protection, bridge heights, or available services.
  3. Locate the ✔: Organized clockwise from Stuart to Miami, down the Keys, up the southwest coast, and across the Okeechobee Waterway, each ✔ shows where you can find what you're looking for. Just find the one closest to you!

Anchorage Names: All anchorage names are Active Captain names, which can be overlaid on any navigation app like Garmin, Navionics, or Aqua Map.

  • Clickable tabs let you jump straight to the right section.
  • Searchable bookmarks make it easy to navigate the table of contents.

Would like to see more

Loved the complete and thorough info. Would like to see these locations on maps....even if just a dropped pin, so you could get an idea of where they are. I understand the mile marker theory, but if youre asking my opinion, it would be easier with maps.
